Ah, the life of a student that doesn’t have a summer semester. I miss the days when I had classes in the summer (and continued to work part-time). Now I need a summer job. Call me!

Since the last update of the movie list, I’ve watched another SEVEN movies. I wonder if I should recommend you guys some movies to watch. My life goal (apparently) is to watch all Top 250 movies from IMDB. I’ve only tackled 43 films. The hardest part is that there are some movies that I don’t ever want to watch (for various reasons, personal and otherwise), which makes completing the list more difficult than it already.

Right now, I’m tackling all the Ghibli films. Last nighht I watched Ponyo – finally (which I think everyone should watch if they want a cheering up or just plain cute/adorable/omg/WHY ARE YOU SO CUTE, achem) and The Borrower Arrietty (based on the novel, and its gorgeous graphics holy cow WHY ARE YOU SO GORGEOUS, achem).

Tomorrow is Canada Day. I’ll have a Friday Five Links thing come tomorrow. Hopefully the weather is nice for you all. It’s dark and cloudy here right now and it’s almost July! The forecast for tomorrow is cloudy with a hint of sun. Let’s hope it is!

Have It All (16/30)Skagway, Alaska

It’s been a week since I’ve been back from the Alaskan trip. I took almost 2000 pictures on this trip so I haven’t had the motivation to sort through the pictures. I only looked through a few of them and picked out some for a new profile picture for Facebook since the old one was me in a Canucks jersey. Summer time means it is time to retire the hockey picture and throw up a new one.

This brings me to summer… which equals no school, which equals finding a summer job! After the very-long-job-search last year, I wasn’t looking forward to the job search again. I am guessing the hardest part is that it is a summer job that I’m looking for, and not a long-term thing, which totally limits my search range.

I’ve been applying to retail jobs and such. So hopefully that will work out. Any tips, opportunities, etc, will be appreciated. :D

Also, I’ve been watching a lot of movies lately. I wonder if I should write reviews for them. Some of them are just boring and horrid and yeeeah.
