Happy Canada / Day Eh?

Happy 144th, Canada! You still look as luscious as ever. I’ll be in Granville Island and Downtown celebrating your birthday.

And yes, I totally missed last Friday’s Friday Five. There’s no way I’m going to have ten links, so here’s just five:

Friday Five

As we walk these quiet paths

Another Friday with more links! Yes I know I’m not here, but that’s why there’s the setting the time to publish option!

Here we go:

  1. Food Gawker – Another amazing site full of delicious food and their recipe. Get those that bookmark button ready!
  2. Google Logo: Les Paul Guitar – If you missed out on it the awesomeness of the Google Logo, it’s permanently stored here now!
  3. Sphere Play – A pretty short escape room game. Nostalgia!
  4. Flavors.Me – A great free or paid site where you can create an account to list out all your social networking site! Just give this URL to people and they can find you everywhere!
  5. Bacon Ipsum – Instead of Lorem Ipsum standard text, you can bacon ipsum!!! (Bacon ipsum dolor sit amet ham hock sausage spare ribs…)

Hope I’m having a great time in Alaska ;)

Clap Clap Clap! (09/30)

First Inaugural Edition of… Five Links for Friday:

  1. F-ckYeahHeadlines - F-ckYeahHeadlines is a site that publishes a new comic every weekday depicting an interesting newspaper headline graphically. Humourous in nature and usually entirely absurd. A great follow especially if you’re on Tumblr.
  2. NomNomism – NomNomism is a site with amazingly delicious looking pictures of food, along with a link to the recipe. Don’t go to this when you’re hungry. You end up much worst than when you started. Also, keep the bookmark button handy. You’ll want to use it.
  3. The Bugle Archive – The Bugle is a satirical British political podcast hosted by John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman, published by Times Online. Since the older podcasts are off iTunes and the Times Online website is now restricted to UK IPs only, here is the only place I know of that has all the episodes there. I’m at around Episode 60!
  4. All My Friends are Dead – an online version of a book about the extinction of animals, plants and what not. Very cute illustrations.
  5. My Mental Age – What is your mental age? Mine is apparently 33. But then I don’t know how accurate any of these quizzes are!

I seriously need to go pack. I’ve been saying that all week. I’m running out of time! Also, I go to two reliable weather websites. Both give me different forecasts. Oh well.
